Great Big Stitched Postcard Swap - how is your postcard coming along?

Have you made any progress?  Have you sent your postcard off already?  Here is a sneak peak at mine, which I finished yesterday:

It's going to be winging its way to the USA shortly - will it land on your doorstep I wonder?

Everyone who signed up to participate should have received an email from me with details of where to send your postcard.  If you haven't received one yet please let me know.

Please try and get your postcard in the post next week so we can all start admiring the lovely creations as they fall through our letterboxes and pop up in the Flickr group  (PS there are a couple there already, why not take a look!)

  1. Yippee! Mine went in the mail today. Almost posted it prematurely in the Flickr group, but got it out in time :)

    This was a fun swap!

  2. love the sneak peek! can't wait to see the rest + everyone else s creations!!!

    xo, juliette

  3. hey, didn't you get my email?? I so wanted to join in this time!! xxx Did I miss it? Did I miss your email about it?

  4. Hi @Get Stuff Done

I can't tell your name from the message above as your Blogger profile is switched off. Could you kindly send me another email and then I can confirm whether or not I received your first one!

  5. ooooooo love the colors. I need to get my butt in gear! ;-)

  6. I've made a start but is there a specified exact size - or is it approximately postcard size? Also do we do anything we like on the back?
Sorry if you have these details somewhere else and I haven't found them.
    Happy creating everyone!

  7. Just put the last stitch into mine and it will go in the post in the morning. I'm getting excited waiting to see what the postman will bring.

  8. Hi Rustic Tarts - approximately postcard size (6"x4") is fine. And you can do whatever you like on the back. Some people use it for the address and a message and then send it like a postcard, others use the whole thing for a message and then send it in an envelope (usually if it is delicate). Others actually send it blank so you can use it as a card for someone else. It is totally up to you!

Can't wait to see what you all make

I love comments! Tell me what you think...
